HPC systems within NHR South-West are provided by the Center of Scientific Computing in Frankfurt and the Center for Data Processing in Mainz.

MOGON NHR
MOGON NHR is a general-purpose computer cluster based on the AMD EPYC 7713 CPU architecture. Every node comes with two AMD processors offering 64 cores each. In addition, 10 compute nodes are equipped with four NVIDIA A100 GPUs for specialized HPC workloads. The system was inaugurated in March 2023.

Frankfurt
Goethe-NHR
Goethe-NHR is a general-purpose computer cluster based on several CPU architectures. The system was installed at Industriepark Höchst in 2019 and 2020 and extended with GPU nodes in 2023. It has since been moved to the Green IT Cube on the GSI/FAIR campus in Darmstadt.
